Eligibility for MBA

1. A pass in any Bachelor’s Degree Examination of Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree of any other Universities duly recognized by M.G. University with not less than 55% marks in Science & Technology subjects and 50% marks in other subjects in the aggregate for all parts of examination or a Master’s Degree examination with 55% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST students: A pass in any Bachelor’s Degree examination is needed for SC/ST candidates

2. Scores achieved through CMAT /CAT/KMAT Kerala.

Admission Process

Application form can be downloaded or can be directly obtained from the college office. The filled in application can be sent along with the DD for Rs. 500/- in favour of Principal, DiST, payable at Angamaly. To obtain the application form by post, send a DD for Rs. 550/-. The admission is based on the performance in CMAT /CAT/KMAT Kerala, GD and Interview conducted by De Paul Institute of Science & Technology (DiST). Those who apply for MBA need to pay only Rs.750/- (Rs.800/- if Application form is to be sent by post).

Eligibility for MCA

Candidates should have passed in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics at 10+2 level OR at graduate level. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in their degree examination, but it is 45% for candidates belonging to reserved category. For SC & ST candidates, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted.

Admission Process

Admission is based on the Rank obtained by the Entrance Examination conducted by Association of Self Financing Technology Institutions of Kerala. Candidates should submit a separate filled in application form issued by DiST along with attested mark sheet, certificate of degree and proof for the Rank obtained in Entrance Examination to DiST. Candidates should have passed BCA/B.Sc. (IT/COMPUTER SCIENCE) Degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level. The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in their degree examination, but it is 45% for candidates belonging to reserved category. For SC & ST candidates, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted.

Eligibility for MCA Integrated

A candidate seeking admission to Integrated MCA course must have a pass with not less than 45% marks in 10+2 level with Physics and Mathematics in X standard along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject/any stream in XII standard. Subject to the regulation relating to prescribed minimum of the respective qualifying examination, the minimum marks for admission to the Course of studies shall be 40% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category. Candidates belonging to socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) referred to GO (P)208/66/Edn dated. 2-5-96 and subsequent amendments to order issued by the Government shall be given a relaxation of 3% marks in the prescribed minimum for admission and 5% for OEC. A relaxation of 5% marks from the prescribed minimum shall be allowed in the case of physically handicapped persons. Reservation of seats shall be as per rules prescribed in the relevant rules by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala / MG University.

Admission Process

Admission for 50% of seats will be done through MG University UG Centralized Allotment Process (UGCAP) and the other 50% will be through Management Allotment. Admission to Management Quota is selective and is based on the merit and interview ranking.
