Computer Science students and faculty members participate in a number of ongoing seminars and workshops sponsored by the department. Seminars and conferences are very common and popular means of interaction in modern business world. Used effectively they can play a vital role in the dissemination of knowledge and build-up of skills. They facilitate intense deliberations through participation and interaction in an organized manner.

Following seminars and webinars are organized in the academic year 2020-21

  • • Add on course on “Artificial Intelligence Basics” for final year and second year students by Cosmek Solutions.
  • • Add on course on “DART Programming and Mobile App Development with Flutter” by Fortune Developers.
  • • Alumni Talk and Seminar on “Latest Trends in IT industry” handled by Ms.Rosbee Binny, Financial Advisory Analyst, Deloitte, BCA18 Batch Alumnus, in the month of August.
  • • Alumni Talk and Seminar on ”Azure AI Fundamentals” handled by Ms. Godiya Thampan, Developer 1- Software Engineering, UST ,BCA16 Batch Alumnus, in the month of December.
  • • Seminar on “Trending Technologies in IT” done by Jet king Kochi in the month of December.
  • • SCS(UG) organized workshops on “Online Services” and “Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint” for non-teaching staff of college.
  • • Seminar for final year on “Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning” by Network Academy was conducted in the month of October.
  • • Webinar on "Why data Science is so relevant" Resource Person Dr. Napoleon D from Bharathiar University.
  • • Webinar on "Introduction to Machine learning" Resource Person Ms. Saley Seetharaman, Head of Information system, College of Science and Arts, Rijal Alma’a King khalid University, Abha, Saudi Arabia.
  • • Webinar on "Silent Technology" Resource Person Ms.Greeshma George, ETS Developer and Tester, TCS.
  • • Webinar on “Goal Setting” by Mr. Joseph Paul (HOD, MCA).
